School Flu Vaccine

Flu Vaccine

The flu vaccine is the best way to prevent the flu. It is especially important that children with certain health problems like asthma, diabetes, or weakened immune systems get vaccinated every year.

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) is working with Williston School District #29 to provide flu vaccine at our schools November 20, 2017.

Written consents have been sent home with students and should be returned to the School Nurse by November 13th.  If you prefer to complete the consent online, go to http://www.scdhec.gov/slvcconsent and enter one of the following codes:

10629007 for KEES; 10629008 for WEMS; 10629006 for WEHS.

If you have any additional questions visit http://scdhec.gov/Health/DiseasesandConditions/InfectiousDiseases/Flu/SchoolFluVaccineClinics/ or contact your School Nurse.

Remember: Healthy children learn better!
